Problem :
ODI-26039: Connection failed.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: [Teradata JDBC Driver] [TeraJDBC 13.00.00.06] [Error 1000] [SQLState 08S01] Login failure for Connection to localhost:1025 Tue Feb 07 20:20:21
Version Details: ODI 11.1.1.5.0, Teradata: 12.
Teradata Data Server details as under.
Name: Refinery_PROD
Technology: Teradata
Server: TERADATA
User: dbc
Password: *******
Cause :
Possibly, the definition tab of the ODI field is having non server equivalent value with wrong server information or JDBC URL mismatching
Workaround :
1. Open ODI Studio
2. Migrate to the Definition Tab and leave the Data server field empty
3. Connect to JDBC tab and enter the url of your local host that looks something like jdbc:teradata://localhost/DBC
4. Issue resolved
